Conclusion: African Heritage Students' Academic Achievement Gaps and Culturally Sensitive Curriculums

Cultural differences and varying levels of parental involvement have been identified as key factors explaining academic achievement gaps among African heritage students. Teachers must recognize that standard curriculums should be revamped to foster inclusivity, acknowledging diverse cultural backgrounds even among students of the same race.
