Student Perspectives on the Flipped-Classroom Approach and Collaborative Problem-Solving Process: Research Question 2 Results – Individual Problem Solving Vs. Peer Interaction
In their first observation of the groups, researchers observed that groups 1 and 2 interacted with one another as much as they worked individually, but groups 3-5 spent more time working individually and would then compare their results. However, in their second observation, researchers observed that all groups spent less time working individually, and more time working as a group and collaborating. It is believed this may be due to the increased complexity of the problems.
