Book Two - Section 99 - Aisha, may God be pleased with her, asking Mustafa, peace be upon him, 'How is it that you pray everywhere without a prayer mat?'

Original content

English translation

Aisha said to the Prophet one day, 'O Messenger of God, you, both openly and secretly, Perform prayers wherever you find yourself, While children run around the house, which is impure and base. Even though you know that every unclean child Has soiled every place they have reached.' The Prophet said, 'Know that for the sake of the great ones, God purifies that which is impure. For this reason, the grace of God Has purified my place of prostration down to the seventh earth-stratum. Beware, beware! Cease envying the spiritual kings, Otherwise you will become a Satan in this world. For if he consumes poison, it becomes honey; But if you consume honey, it becomes poison. For he has been transformed, and his state has been transformed; His every fire has become grace and light. It was the power of God that aided the Ababil birds, Otherwise, how could a bird slay an elephant? A few tiny birds defeated an entire army, So that you may know that majesty and power belong to God. If doubts of this kind occur to you, Go and read the Surah of the Companions of the Elephant. And if you contend or compete with him, Deem me an infidel if you ever gain the upper hand over them.'
