Book Two - Section 51 - Return to the Story of the Sick Person and the Visitation of the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him

Original content

English translation

This visitation is for the sake of this bond, and this bond is pregnant with a hundred loves. The peerless Messenger went on the visitation and saw that Companion in the state of death-throes. When you become distant from the presence of the saints, in truth you have become distant from God. Since the result of separation from companions is grief, how could separation from the faces of kings be any less? Seek the shadow of the kings at every moment; hasten, so that through that shadow you may become better than the sun. If you travel, go with this intention; and if you stay at home, do not be heedless of this.
