روضهٔ اول / First Garden (Rowze 1) of Baharestan

The first garden (روضهٔ اول) of Jami's Baharestan gathers short prose anecdotes and sayings attributed to Sufi sheikhs and mystics, each tale typically capped with a verse. It portrays the spiritual states, sufferings, and insights of masters such as Abu Ali al-Daqqaq (Section 19) and Sari al-Saqati with Junayd (Section 5). This structural chapter groups the individual sections (بخش) that belong to the first rowze, mirroring how Baharestan is organized into eight gardens rather than a flat list of sections.
