Real Number

A real number is defined as any quantity that is uniquely either a rational number or an irrational number. By combining the set of rational numbers (which includes fractions, integers, and terminating or repeating decimals) with the set of irrational numbers (which never terminate or repeat), the complete collection of real numbers is formed.
