Irrational Number

An irrational number is a value that cannot be expressed as a ratio of two integers. Unlike rational numbers, the decimal representation of an irrational number continues indefinitely without ever terminating or falling into a repeating cycle of digits. Common examples include the constant π\pi and the square roots of non-perfect squares.
