Writing an Integer as a Fraction

Any integer aa can be rewritten as a fraction by placing it over a denominator of 11, forming the fraction a1\frac{a}{1}. For example, the integer 33 can be written as 31\frac{3}{1}. This technique is particularly helpful when performing operations such as multiplying or dividing a fraction by an integer, as it aligns the integer with the numerator and denominator structure of the fraction.
