Section 32

Original content

English translation

A man came upon a certain person and began to complain: 'Is it right that you do not know me and do not observe my rights?' That person was bewildered and said: 'Of these things you speak, I have no knowledge!' He said: 'My father had once asked for your mother's hand in marriage; had he married her, I would have been your brother.' That person said: 'By God, this is such a kinship that it would cause me to inherit from you and you to inherit from me.'

The raw fancy of greed was that upon all people It is an obligation to weigh out kindness to him. Since the rawness of his greed does not ripen into maturity, He falls, from narrow-heartedness, into the strait of affliction and pain.
