Results: Fostering self-regulation through mindful yoga for middle schoolers

  • Statistical analyses found that the intervention and control groups were significantly different for the mid- and end-of-year assessments.
  • Long-term regulation was found to be significantly different between groups, changing over time (shown in figure 1).
  • In contrast with the intervention group, the long-term regulation of the control group declined significantly throughout the school year.
