نوح اندر بادیه کشتی بساخت
صد مثل گو از پی تسخیر بتاخت
در بیابانی که چاه آب نیست
می کند کشتی چه نادان و ابلهیست
آن یکی می گفت ای کشتی بتاز
و آن یکی می گفت پرش هم بساز
او همی گفت این به فرمان خداست
این بچربکها نخواهد گشت کاست
English translation
Noah built a ship in the wilderness, A hundred mockers rushed after him for ridicule. In a desert where there is no well of water, He builds a ship — what ignorance, what foolishness! One would say: "O ship, now sail away!" And another would say: "Make wings for it too!" He kept saying: "This is by God's command; This will not be diminished by these jests."
