دفتر سوم - بخش ۷۷ - اجتماع اجزای خر عزیر علیه السلام بعد از پوسیدن باذن الله و درهم مرکب شدن پیش چشم عزیر علیه السلام / Book Three - Section 77 - The Assembling of the Parts of the Donkey of Ezra, Peace Be Upon Him, After Decaying by the Leave of God, and Their Being Compounded Together Before the Eyes of Ezra, Peace Be Upon Him

Original content

English translation

Heed! O Ezra, look upon your donkey, Which has decayed and crumbled before you. Before you We shall gather its parts— That head and tail and two ears and legs. Without a hand, He sets part upon part And gives the fragments a gathering together. Look at the craft of this piecing and joining, Which sews the old together without a needle: No thread and no needle at the time of stitching, Yet sews so that no seam is visible. Open your eyes and see the Resurrection plainly, So no doubt remains in you about the Day of Judgment, So you may see My gathering power in full And not tremble at the time of death from dread. Just as at the time of sleep you are secure From the loss of all the bodily senses— You do not tremble over your senses at sleep, Though they become scattered and ruined.
