نفی آن یک چیز و اثباتش رواست
چون جهت شد مختلف نسبت دوتاست

ما رمیت اذ رمیت از نسبتست
نفی و اثباتست و هر دو مثبتست

آن تو افکندی چو بر دست تو بود
تو نه افکندی که قوت حق نمود

زور آدم زاد را حدی بود
مشت خاک اشکست لشکر کی شود

مشت مشت تست و افکندن ز ماست
زین دو نسبت نفی و اثباتش رواست

یعرفون الانبیا اضدادهم
مثل ما لا یشتبه اولادهم

همچو فرزندان خود دانندشان
منکران با صد دلیل و صد نشان

لیک از رشک و حسد پنهان کنند
خویشتن را بر ندانم می زنند

پس چو یعرف گفت چون جای دگر
گفت لایعرفهم غیری فذر

انهم تحت قبابی کامنون
جز که یزدانشان نداند ز آزمون

هم بنسبت گیر این مفتوح را
که بدانی و ندانی نوح را

English translation

The negation and affirmation of one thing are both valid; When the aspect differs, the relation becomes twofold. "You did not throw when you threw" — this is a matter of relation; It is negation and affirmation, and both are affirmed.

That you threw — since it was in your hand; You did not throw — for God's power manifested. The strength of a human has its limit; How can a fistful of dust shatter an army?

The fist is your fist, and the throwing is from Us; From these two relations, both its negation and affirmation are valid.

"Their opposites recognize the prophets, As one cannot mistake one's own children."

Like their own children, the deniers know them, With a hundred proofs and a hundred signs — Yet out of envy and jealousy they conceal it, And cast themselves as unknowing.

Then since He said "they recognize," why in another place Did He say, "None but I knows them, so leave them"?

"They are hidden under My domes" — None but God knows them through trial.

Take this illumined one also by the measure of relation: That you both know and do not know Noah.
