یک مثال دیگر اندر کژروی
شاید ار از نقل قرآن بشنوی

این چنین کژ بازیی در جفت و طاق
با نبی می باختند اهل نفاق

کز برای عز دین احمدی
مسجدی سازیم و بود آن مرتدی

این چنین کژ بازیی می باختند
مسجدی جز مسجد او ساختند

سقف و فرش و قبه اش آراسته
لیک تفریق جماعت خواسته

نزد پیغامبر به لابه آمدند
همچو اشتر پیش او زانو زدند

کای رسول حق برای محسنی
سوی آن مسجد قدم رنجه کنی

تا مبارک گردد از اقدام تو
تا قیامت تازه بادا نام تو

مسجد روز گلست و روز ابر
مسجد روز ضرورت وقت فقر

تا غریبی یابد آنجا خیر و جا
تا فراوان گردد این خدمت سرا

تا شعار دین شود بسیار و پر
زانک با یاران شود خوش کار مر

ساعتی آن جایگه تشریف ده
تزکیه مان کن ز ما تعریف ده

مسجد و اصحاب مسجد را نواز
تو مهی ما شب دمی با ما بساز

تا شود شب از جمالت همچو روز
ای جمالت آفتاب جان فروز

ای دریغا کان سخن از دل بدی
تا مراد آن نفر حاصل شدی

لطف کاید بی دل و جان در زبان
همچو سبزهٔ تون بود ای دوستان

هم ز دورش بنگر و اندر گذر
خوردن و بو را نشاید ای پسر

سوی لطف بی وفایان هین مرو
کان پل ویران بود ، نیکو شنو

گر قدم را جاهلی بر وی زند
بشکند پل و آن قدم را بشکند

هر کجا لشکر شکسته می شود
از دو سه سست مخنث می بود

در صف آید با سلاح او مردوار
دل برو بنهند کاینک یار غار

رو بگرداند چو بیند زخم را
رفتن او بشکند پشت تو را

این درازست و فراوان می شود
وآنچ مقصودست پنهان می شود

English translation

One more example of crooked-going — Perhaps you will hear it from the transmission of the Qur'an. Such a crooked game, in even and odd, Did the people of hypocrisy play against the Prophet. "That for the glory of the Ahmadi faith We shall build a mosque" — and that was apostasy. Such a crooked game they played, Building a mosque other than his mosque. Its roof, floor, and dome adorned, Yet the splitting of the congregation was what was sought. They came to the Prophet supplicating, Like camels, they knelt before him. "O Messenger of God, for the sake of beneficence, Would you trouble your feet toward that mosque, That it may be blessed by your steps — May your name be ever fresh until the Resurrection! The mosque in days of mud and days of cloud, The mosque in days of necessity and times of poverty — That a stranger may find there good and shelter, That this house of service may grow abundant, That the emblems of faith may multiply and fill — For work becomes pleasant when done with companions. Honor that place with your presence for a moment; Purify us, and give us your commendation. Bestow grace upon the mosque and its companions — You are the moon, we the night; stay with us a moment, That the night may become like day through your beauty — O you whose beauty is the soul-illumining sun!" Ah, if only those words had come from the heart, Then the desire of those persons would have been fulfilled. Kindness that comes to the tongue without heart and soul Is like the greenery of a furnace mouth, O friends. Look at it from afar and pass it by — It is unfit for eating or smelling, O son. Do not go toward the kindness of the faithless — beware! For that is a ruined bridge — listen well. If a fool sets his foot upon it, The bridge breaks, and that foot breaks. Wherever an army is broken and routed, It comes from two or three weak, effeminate ones. He enters the battle line armed, in manly fashion; They place their hearts on him: "Here is our bosom companion!" He turns away when he sees the wound — His departure breaks your back. This grows long and copious, And what is intended remains hidden.
