Book Three - Section 41 - Moses's Answer to Pharaoh

Original content

English translation

Moses said: “This is not permitted to me; I am a servant, and I am not charged with giving you delay. If you prevail and I myself have no helper, I am the servant of the command; knowing the outcome is not my business. I will contend with you in earnest as long as I live. What part have I in victory? I am a servant. I will strike until God's decree arrives; He will separate every adversary from adversaryship.”
