این باب از کشف‌المحجوبِ هجویری زندگی و سخنان امامان و مشایخ صوفیه را از نسل اتباعِ تابعین تا استادان متأخر گرد می‌آورد. هر تن با عبارت «و منهم» معرفی می‌شود و هجویری یکی از سخنان یا کراماتِ او را می‌آورد و شرح می‌کند. سرگذشت‌هایی چون مالک بن دینار، احمد بن حنبل، ابوالحسن نوری، منصور بن عمار و ابوعثمان مغربی بخش‌های همین باب‌اند و جای‌گیری هر سرگذشت در این فصلِ زندگی‌نامه‌ای، پیش‌زمینهٔ فهم آن است.

This chapter of Hujwiri's Kashf al-Mahjub gathers the lives and sayings of the Sufi imams and masters, from the generation of the Followers' successors down to the later shaykhs. Each figure is introduced with the formula 'wa minhum', after which Hujwiri cites a saying or miracle and expounds it. Individual notices such as Malik ibn Dinar, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Abu al-Hasan al-Nuri, Mansur ibn Ammar, and Abu Uthman al-Maghribi are sections nested within this chapter.
