و اهل بیت پیغامبر علیه السلام آنان که به طهارت اصلی مخصوص اند هر یکی را اندر این معانی قدمی تمام است، و جمله قدوهٔ این طایفه بوده اند و خاص و عام ایشان و من از روزگار گروهی از ایشان طرفی بیان کنم، ان شاء الله عز و جل.

English translation

And the People of the House of the Prophet (peace be upon him), those who are distinguished by essential purity — each one of them has a complete standing in these meanings, and all of them have been the exemplars of this group, both its elite and its common folk. And I shall relate some account concerning a number of them from times past, God willing, mighty and exalted is He.
