بخش زندگی‌نامهٔ مشایخ صوفیه در کشف المحجوب

این باب از کشف المحجوب هجویری به شرح احوال و اقوال ائمه و مشایخ صوفیه از نسل پس از تابعین اختصاص دارد؛ از ابراهیم ادهم و داود طائی و فضیل عیاض گرفته تا جنید و شبلی. ساختار هر بخش یکسان است: معرفی کوتاه شیخ، آنگاه یک سخن عربی از او و سپس شرح فارسی آن. از این رو هر زندگی‌نامهٔ منفرد (مانند داود طائی، ابوسلیمان دارانی، ابوتراب نخشبی) زیرمجموعهٔ این باب است، نه فرزند مستقیم کل کتاب.

Biographies of the Sufi masters in Kashf al-Mahjub

This chapter of Hujwiri's Kashf al-Mahjub gathers the lives and sayings of the Sufi imams from the generation after the Followers down to Junayd and Shibli. Every section follows the same pattern: a brief notice of the master, a characteristic Arabic saying, and a Persian commentary on it. The individual saint entries therefore belong under this chapter-level container rather than linking straight to the whole book.
