باب مشایخ متأخر صوفیه در کشف‌المحجوب

این باب از کشف‌المحجوبِ هجویری شرح‌حال گروهی از مشایخ متأخر صوفیه را در بر می‌گیرد. هر بخش با ستایشی کوتاه از یک شیخ آغاز می‌شود، سپس نام، نسب، مقام، استادان و هم‌صحبتان او را می‌آورد و به یک سخنِ عربی از او و شرح فارسیِ هجویری بر آن می‌رسد. بخش‌هایی چون ۵۲ (الأدمی)، ۴۸ (ابن مسروق)، ۵۴ (الخواص)، ۶۲ (المغربی) و مانند آن‌ها همه ذیل همین باب جای می‌گیرند و ساختار مشترک زندگی‌نامه‌ای دارند.

English: This chapter of Hujwiri's Kashf al-Mahjub gathers the biographical notices of the later Sufi masters. Each section opens with a brief eulogy of a shaykh, then records his name, lineage, rank, teachers, and companions, and closes with a characteristic Arabic saying together with Hujwiri's Persian commentary on it. The individual sections (52 al-Adami, 48 ibn Masruq, 54 al-Khawwas, and their siblings) are the members that make up this chapter.
