خردنامه اسکندری / Khiradnama-yi Iskandari (The Book of Alexandrian Wisdom)

خردنامه اسکندری (Khiradnama-yi Iskandari, the Book of Alexandrian Wisdom) is the seventh and final masnavi of Jami's Haft Awrang. Framed around the figure of Alexander (Iskandar), it gathers the counsels of Greek sages and meditations on kingship, mortality, and divine wisdom. Its numbered sections include the wisdom-books (khiradnamas) attributed to sages such as Pythagoras (Section 27), Asclepius (Section 29), and Hermes (Section 31), followed by the laments and condolences of the sages after Alexander's death (e.g., Sections 59 and 70). This work-level container sits between the whole Haft Awrang collection and its individual sections.
