انبیا برگزیدگان حق اند
برده از کل ما خلق سبق اند

بر سوای خود از بنی آدم
فضل دارند بر ملائکه هم

نفس شیطان به قصد جرم و گناه
نتواند زند بر ایشان راه

ور به فرض محال یا نادر
از یکی زلتی شود صادر

پیش ارباب شرع و دین آن هم
مشتمل بر مصالح است و حکم

آدم آن دم که خورد گندم را
تخم می کاشت نسل مردم را

دانه ای را که خورد ازان شجره
شد وجود من و تواش ثمره

English translation

Prophets are the chosen ones of God (the Truth), They have surpassed all of creation. Over others among the children of Adam They hold superiority, and over the angels as well. The temptation of Satan, with intent of crime and sin, Cannot lead them astray. And if, by impossible or rare assumption, A slip should be committed by one of them, According to the masters of religious law and faith, even that Comprises wisdom, benefits, and purposes. When Adam ate the grain of wheat, He was sowing the seed of the human race; The grain he ate from that tree— The existence of you and me became its fruit.
