Section 22 - Allusion to the Fact That Declaring the People of the Qibla to Be Disbelievers (Takfir) Is Not Permissible

Original content

English translation

Whoever appears to you of the people of the Qibla, Who has believed in what the Prophet has brought, Even if a hundred innovations, errors, and flaws You see in him in terms of knowledge and practice, Do not declare him a disbeliever (takfir) in reproach, Do not count him among the people of the Fire and the Blaze. And if you see someone of the people of righteousness, Who walks the path of religion morning and evening, Turning away completely from forbidden things, Turning entirely toward the commandments, Sending caravans toward the hereafter Of obligatory and supererogatory deeds, Do not count him with certainty as a person of Paradise, Do not leave him safe from his final day, Except for the one who, from the Messenger of God, Was promised the Abode of Paradise, Even if ten individuals are famous for that, Do not confine them to those ten, Because a group of the pure-natured Family Also received the glad tidings of Paradise.
