English translation

The king of this path, who out of true meaning, His claim was, 'I invite to Allah.' Since 'I invite' found its support in Him, He appended the condition, 'with insight,' right after. Meaning: 'This invitation of mine is not in blindness; I see that which is from God to God.' Rather, the invited one is He, and the inviter too, As well as the one striving in guidance and misguidance. He Himself calls Himself from Himself to Himself; He Himself does whatever He wills and knows. The astray in this abode of fear, I summon from the Name 'the Avenger' to 'the Merciful.' Who am I? But a shadow of God; The Name 'the Guide' provides my substance. Who is the astray? The shadow of the Name 'the Misleader'; And the shadow is, in reality, the very essence of the shadow-caster. Although we are counted among the Names, Yet from the perspective of the Essence, we are one. I and anyone who has taken lessons From me in witnessing the Unity of the Truth, Thus do we call creation toward the Truth; Thus do we know the secret of this matter. I know Him to be pure from the defect of partnership; I am not of those who speak of association.
