بخش ۱۵۹ - در مذمت آنان که صحابه کرام را رضی الله عنهم مذمت می کنند و بیان آنکه مذمت جاهل در حقیقت محمدت است و محمدت او مذمت / Section 159 - In Condemnation of Those Who Vilify the Noble Companions (May Allah Be Pleased with Them) and the Explanation that the Ignorant's Condemnation is in Reality Praise, and His Praise is Condemnation

Original content

English translation

Whoever adopts the rejection of the Companions as their character, Is not a part of creation, but rather a disgrace to all creation. What is worse than a fool from among the commoners Opening his lips to insult the noble Companions? What is worse than an ignorant person, out of foolishness, Speaking evil concerning the Companions? He whose praise is worth less than condemnation, What would it be if he raises his breath to condemn? And he whose prayer smells of a curse, How would it be if he turns to curse? The praise of an ignorant person, though in appearance is praise, If you look at its meaning, it is actually a reproach. And though his condemnation is outwardly a condemnation, Yet from the perspective of meaning, it is praise. Because praise arises from affinity, And like clings to like in praise. It would be a defect for a man of heart To share the same stable with the ignorant. To be condemned by any jinn or human Is proof of distance and incompatibility. Remaining distant from the ways of the ignorant Is among the signs of virtue and perfection.
