English translation

The sincere man, if not purified from himself, His sincerity is entirely polytheism. His soul not cleansed of the filth of polytheism, He attributes sincerity to himself. In the eyes of the aware verifier, The sincere face no other danger on the path but this. When the Truth delivers him from the deceitful self, The kasra of his 'lām' changes to a fatḥa. He was 'mukhliṣ'; now he becomes 'mukhlaṣ', And a savior delivers him from his self. Nay, once he escapes from the worthless self, His kasra is fatḥa, and his fatḥa is kasra. If he becomes present with his own sincerity, He sees the sincerity of the Truth manifested from him. He becomes sincere, but through the Truth, not through himself, He learns this lesson from the Truth, not from himself. The 'mukhliṣ' and 'mukhlaṣ' that in the Quran, Are revealed in the status of the prophets— In expression, they are two different forms, But in reality, they have one single meaning.
