English translation

The drum of sovereignty in the world was beaten By the majestic procession of the Ubaydullahi spiritual poverty. He who is aware of the freedom of poverty Is the master of the free, Ubaydullah. The face of the earth, which has neither head nor base, In his sight is like the surface of a fingernail. Since a fingernail's surface has come to his hand, How could defeat ever come to him on the path of poverty? The abyss of the ocean of Oneness is his heart; The form of multiplicity is a seashell on its shore. From that bottomless abyss, The nine-layered dome of heaven is but a single bubble. Giving moisture to his gem-showering reed-pen, He washed away the chronicle of Genghis's tyranny. His pen, through the transcription of letters, Has erased the lines of oppression's chronicle from all regions. His epistle brings light to every province; His abode is the second of the best of lands. Crowned rulers are earring-wearing servants at his door, Having found glory from his auspicious presence. From his sweet lips, sugar is poured, Mixing the food of the soul with sweetness. Angels have become flies at his table, Sustained by his sugar-land. The circle of companions who surround him Benefit from the spiritual inflows of his litany. The circle of their assembly is a sanctuary of peace; The center of that circle is the point of spiritual concentration. To that Kaaba of truth and rectitude, Their connection is a chain of pure gold. May that chain remain unbroken until eternity, And may the neck of time be bound to it.
