ای صفاتت حجب وحدت ذات
جلوه گر ذات تو ز اسما و صفات
آشکارا به جهان غیر تو کیست
زیر این پرده نهان غیر تو کیست
باطن عالم و ظاهر همه تو
غایب از دیده و حاضر همه تو
فضل تو شامل هر ناکس و کس
همه را روی به سوی تو و بس
جامی از جمله کسان ناکستر
وز همه بازپسان واپستر
می نهد در ره تو روی نیاز
بی نیازش ز همه کار بساز
سر ز هر راه بگردان او را
سر بنه در ره مردان او را
از همه وسوسه ها پاکش کن
در ره اهل طلب خاکش کن
لنگی از پای ارادت ببرش
ده به اقلیم سعادت گذرش
بخشش از حسن ارادت کیشی
بر همه اهل ارادت بیشی
English translation
O You whose attributes are the veils of the unity of Essence, Your Essence is manifested through names and attributes. Who else is manifest in the world but You? Who else is hidden beneath this veil but You? The inward of the world and the outward is all You; Absent from sight and present is all You. Your grace encompasses everyone, worthy and unworthy alike; All faces are turned towards You, and You alone. Jami is the most unworthy of all people, And the furthest behind of all those left behind. He sets his face of need in Your path; Make him independent of all other affairs. Turn his head away from every other path; Place his head on the path of the true men of God. Purify him from all temptations; Make him dust in the path of the seekers. Remove the lameness from his foot of devotion; Grant him passage to the realm of happiness. Bestow upon him, from the beauty of devotion, A state superior to all other devotees.
