English translation

O You whose unique attribute is the Necessary of Existence, The entire chain of contingent beings is bound to You. If caravan upon caravan does not receive Your grace, this chain would tear itself apart. The universe and all creation are witnesses to Your generosity, And serve as proof for the affirmation of Your existence. The celestial sphere found its orbit from You, The earthly stage found its stability from You. The pouch filled with rubies and gold of the mine that exists, Your power has bound to the waist of the mountain. The pearl of speech which You have knotted, You have nurtured in the seashell of the chest. The expanse of the world, which is like a garden, The training of Your grace is its gardener. Its yellow flower is the fountain of the sun, The sphere of heaven is its lotus bud. The small bowl of its narcissus is the cycle of the moon, The place of display for its eglantine is the dawn. The Pleiades are a blossoming branch within it, The red twilight is the red tulip within it. Its free lily represents the noble-spirited, Its greenery represents those fallen underfoot. Its cypress is that tall, shadow-casting tree Which has benefited despite empty hands. Such is the violet which, from the harsh sky, Has come clothed in blue and crooked-backed. Its rose branch is the stature of elegant beauties, Its bud is the congealed blood of distressed hearts. Its nightingale is the disposition of speech-nurturers, In the meadow of the eloquence of the articulate. All these effects that appear so wondrous Bear witness to the existence of the Almighty. We turn our faces to You, for You are the Almighty, You are the one who arranges the thread of wonders. If the garden-planter does not beautify the garden, The garden becomes a scar on the heart of the spectator. And if He displays it with every ornament, Every leaf of it becomes a book. Inscribed in it is the rule of His existence, And His dexterity in His own art. You are the dyer of the garden, our garden is The workshop of the art of our dyer. Like a red rose, it has become red-faced because of You, Proclaiming the descriptions of Your dyings. With the sword of the tongue drawn like a lily, We wield the sword of Your recognition. You existed when this heart-brightening garden did not, You shall exist when the arena of night and day does not. You are the ocean of eternity and the rest is a mirage, From You is the origin, and to You is the return.
