بخش ۶۰ - ندبه حکیم چهارم / Section 60 - The Lament of the Fourth Sage

حکیم چهارم ز کارآگهان
بدینسان مثل زد که شاه جهان

به تری ازان رویش آهنگ بود
که میدان خشکی بر او تنگ بود

کنون کرده زانجا سفر اختیار
به سوی دو گز منزل تنگ و تار

ازان عرصه چون رخت بیرون برد
درین تنگ منزل به سر چون برد

English translation

The fourth sage, from among those knowing of affairs, set forth a parable in this manner: that the king of the world had a longing for moisture and freshness, for the arena of dryness had grown narrow upon him. Now he has chosen to journey away from there, toward a two-cubit dwelling, narrow and dark. When he carried his baggage out of that expanse, how shall he pass his days in this cramped abode?
