English translation

An individual afflicted with love for an ill-tempered beloved Had a Hindu slave named 'Barik' (Slender). After a lifetime, one night, through high fortune, That wild prey came into his snare. He was joyful and laughing with the beloved, When the sound of a knocker striking the door was heard. The lover asked, 'Who is it in this dark night?' He answered, 'Your lowest slave, Barik.' The lover replied, 'Go! For out of perfect closeness, Even if you become as thin as a hair in slenderness, There is no possibility that you find a way in. It is better that you turn your face away from this door.'
