سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (Rosary of the Pious) — the Fourth Masnavi of Jami's Haft Awrang

سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (Rosary of the Pious)

Subhat al-Abrar (سبحة الابرار) is the fourth of the seven poems that make up Jami's Haft Awrang, a didactic Sufi masnavi from the late 15th century. It is organized into forty contemplative chapters (عقد, iqd), each treating an ethical or mystical station of the Sufi path and closing with a munajat — an intimate supplication addressed to God.

The numbered sections currently catalogued directly under Haft Awrang — such as Section 24 (elevation from the station of unity to the witnessing of oneness), and the parallel supplications on poverty (faqr), contentment, humility, repentance, and devotion — are the individual discourses and munajat of this one work. Grouping them under Subhat al-Abrar restores the structural path Jami -> Haft Awrang -> Subhat al-Abrar -> Section (بخش), so a learner can see that Haft Awrang is a collection of seven distinct poems and which single poem each supplication belongs to.
