سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious)

Subhat al-Abrar (سبحة الابرار), the Rosary of the Pious, is the fourth of the seven masnavis that make up Jami's Haft Awrang (its reference path is the '7-4' collection). The poem is built from a chain of discourses on the ethical and mystical stations of the Sufi path, and many of these are cast as munajat (intimate supplications) addressed to God — pleading across stations such as repentance, contentment (رضا), trust (توکل), contentedness (قناعت), humility (تواضع), and zeal (غیرت). All of the Section (بخش) munajat currently hang directly under the whole Haft Awrang collection; inserting this work restores the correct structural path Jami → Haft Awrang → Subhat al-Abrar → Section, so a learner sees which of the seven thrones each supplication belongs to.
