سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious)

Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious)

One of the seven masnavis that make up Jami's Haft Awrang (Seven Thrones). Subhat al-Abrar (سبحة الابرار, the rosary of the pious) is a didactic and mystical poem structured as forty knots (عقد) — the beads of a rosary — where each knot presents an ethical or Sufi teaching, illustrated with short tales and framed by an opening munajat (supplication).

The sections gathered here — for example the thirty-eighth knot (on the testament to the son), the thirty-ninth knot (on admonishing one's own soul), and the transitional supplications between them — all belong to this single work rather than to Haft Awrang as a whole.

This book-level node sits between the whole Haft Awrang collection and its individual بخش sections, restoring the collection to work to section structure so that each section can be placed under the specific masnavi that contains it.
