سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious)

سبحة الابرار (The Rosary of the Pious) is the fourth of the seven masnavi poems that make up Jami's Haft Awrang. Composed in the late fifteenth century, it is a didactic and mystical poem structured as forty aqd (knots, likened to the beads of a rosary). Each aqd expounds an ethical or spiritual station such as repentance, patience (sabr), fear (khawf), hope (raja), trust (tawakkul), and contentment (rida), and is typically paired with a supplication (munajat) and illustrative tales. The numbered knot and supplication sections of this work, including the Eighteenth Knot on Contentment, belong under this specific masnavi rather than directly under the whole Haft Awrang collection.
