سبحة الابرار / Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious)

Subhat al-Abrar

Subhat al-Abrar (The Rosary of the Pious) is the fourth of the seven masnavi poems that together make up Jami's Haft Awrang (Seven Thrones). It is a didactic Sufi masnavi composed in a distinctive ramal meter and organized into numbered sections (بخش‌ها).

Each section characteristically pairs a discourse on a spiritual station or ethical theme with an illustrative anecdote and a closing supplication (مناجات) addressed to God. Across its sections the poem treats themes such as divine unity (توحید), praise and thanksgiving, repentance, trust (توکل), contentment (رضا), love (محبت), and yearning (شوق).

The individual sections — including the supplications on the tree of the heart, on measured speech, and on the transition to the readers and the conclusion — are components of this single work rather than of the wider collection directly.
