یوسف و زلیخا / Yusuf va Zuleykha (Fifth Masnavi of Jami's Haft Awrang)

Yusuf va Zuleykha is the fifth of the seven masnavis that together form Jami's Haft Awrang (Seven Thrones). It retells the story of Joseph and Zuleykha as a Sufi allegory of divine love, in which Zuleykha's earthly passion is gradually purified into longing for the Divine. The poem opens with a sequence of prefatory discourses praising love and speech and stating the cause for composing the book, after which the narrative proper unfolds. The work is divided into numbered sections (Section 12, Section 13, and onward). This work-level node gathers those sections under their own masnavi, rather than attaching them directly to the whole Haft Awrang collection, preserving the collection to work to section structure.
