Section 140 - A Tale by Way of Allegory

Original content

English translation

A questioner asked someone in wonder, 'What relation and lineage do you have with so-and-so?' He said, 'He is a Turk and I am a Tajik, But we have a close kinship. He has a garden full of trees, Upon one of them a crow has made its nest. Whenever that crow raises its voice, Its sound comes to this dwelling of mine. As long as this dwelling is my residing place, My ear is listening to the sound of that voice.'
