Original content

English translation

When the God-fearing person recognized his own soul, He made the Truth a shield against its evils. He became a shield before the Truth, that constantly He may protect Him from the arrow of blame. Whatever of the nature of deficiency came forth, He attributed it to his own imperfect soul. Although in the creed of the master of unitarianism, Monotheism demands that All actions, whether ugly or beautiful, Are attributed to the Truth without intermediaries; But since the way of spiritual manners is paramount, Attributing an evil act to the Truth is strange. Likewise, of the category of actions, Whatever he saw of the nature of good and perfection, He emptied his mind of his own share, And made the Truth his shield in it. He did not claim speech for himself and the soul's action, But held it directly attributed to the Truth, Lest corruption and defect fall into it From the manifestation and arrogance of the deceitful soul, Lest hypocrisy and self-conceit emerge from him, And the record of his vanity be folded away.
