English translation

Hear another answer to that discourse, That this is nothing other than the very essence of action and its trace. Rather, since through the repetition of deeds An impression remains in the heart of the doers, On the Day of Resurrection, by the power of the Almighty, It will manifest in the garment of physical forms. Form is not identical to meaning itself; Indeed, the way from form to meaning is long. One is not transmuted into the other, yet It will be a fitting and beautiful garment for it. Observe the realm of sleep, how It makes things manifest in people's imagination: For every abstract meaning, from the genus of forms, It provides a highly appropriate and suitable garment. When you are overcome by greed and avarice, You will see a mouse or an ant as your companion. When you are vanquished by lust and appetite, You will suffer blows from donkeys and bulls. A wise man saw in a dream That he was putting a seal on the mouths and private parts of people. He told his dream to Ibn Sirin, And Ibn Sirin gave a sweet reply. He said, 'In the month of fasting, before dawn, You have given the call to prayer for dawn to earn reward. Your untimely cry has prevented the neighborhood's people From eating and sexual relations. Since that prohibition was established by you, It was thus pictured in your imagination.' Likewise, every attribute of deficiency or perfection That becomes deeply rooted in you through your deeds, Will show its face, by the power of the Creator, On the Day of Resurrection in a fitting form. Meaning is accidental here [in this world], But tomorrow [in the hereafter], it will become a substantial form.
