حمد تسبیح حق بدین قانون
که رسانیده شد به عرض اکنون

به لسان دلالت آمد و حال
نه به ترتیب لفظ و حرف و مقال

وین به سمع خرد شود مدرک
واندر این نیست هیچ کس را شک

لیک ارباب کشف و اهل عیان
در جماد و نبات و هر حیوان

نطق دیگر همی کنند اثبات
در جمیع مواطن و اوقات

همه مستند زنده و گویا
خالق خویش را به جان جویا

حمد و تسبیح حق همی گویند
راه قرب و رضا همی پویند

تیزگوشان که سمعشان مبدل
شد به سمع دگر ز نور ازل

حمد و تسبیح شان همی شنوند
گرچه اهل نظر نمی گروند

مرتضی گفت با رسول خدا
رفتم از مکه جانب صحرا

هیچ سنگ و درخت نامد پیش
که نگفتی سلام بی کم و بیش

ابن مسعود گفت وقت طعام
می شنیدیم از طعام کلام

به زبان فصیح و لفظ صریح
خوش همی گفت بهر حق تسبیح

English translation

The praise and glorification of the Truth, by this rule, Which has now been brought to your attention, Comes through the tongue of indication and disposition, Not in the order of word, letter, and speech. And this is perceived by the ear of intellect, And in this, no one has any doubt. But the masters of unveiling and the people of witnessing, In inanimate objects, plants, and every animal, Affirm another kind of speech, In all places and times. They are all alive and speaking, Seeking their Creator with all their soul. They speak the praise and glorification of the Truth, They traverse the path of proximity and contentment. The sharp-eared whose hearing has been transformed, Into another hearing by the pre-eternal light, Hear their praise and glorification, Even if the people of reasoning do not believe it. Murtaza (Ali) said to the Messenger of God: "I went from Mecca towards the desert; No stone or tree came before me, That did not say greetings, without more or less." Ibn Mas'ud said, "At the time of food, We would hear speech from the food; In an eloquent tongue and clear words, It sweetly uttered glorification for the Truth."
