بخش ۱۴۷ - ان لربکم فی ایام دهرکم نفحات الا فتعرضوالها / Section 147 - Indeed, in the Days of Your Lifetime Your Lord Has Fragrant Breaths of Grace; Oh, Expose Yourselves to Them

لیک چون نفحه ای ز حق گذرد
گرچه غم کوهها بود برد

ان لله منزل البرکات
فی احایین دهرکم نفحات

متعرض شوید آنها را
قابل آن کنید جانها را

ای بسا نفحه آمد و تو به خواب
بر مشامت زد و تو مست خراب

می دهد بوی گل و نسیم سحر
لیک ازان مرد خفته را چه خبر

نفحه آمد ز حق نپذرفتی
نفحه آمد دماغ بگرفتی

نفحه آمد نصیب بیداران
نفحه آمد طبیب بیماران

آن که بیدار نی نیافت نصیب
وان که بیمار نی نخواست طبیب

ای خدا نفحه ای کرامت دار
که شوم از شمیم آن بیدار

باز بفرست نفحه ای دیگر
که به بیداریم بود در خور

بعد ازان نفحه ای که من بی من
برورم بوکشان سوی گلشن

گلشنی کان بود اوان العرض
جنت عرضها السما و الأرض

English translation

But when a breath of grace passes from the Truth, Even if grief is like mountains, it carries it away. Indeed, for God, the Sender of blessings, There are fragrant breaths of grace at times in your lifetime. Expose yourselves to them, And make your souls receptive to them. Oh, how many a breath came while you were asleep, Brushed against your sense of smell while you were intoxicated and ruined! It gives off the scent of roses and the morning breeze, But what news does the sleeping man have of it? A breath came from the Truth, and you did not accept it; A breath came, and you blocked your nose. The breath came as the portion of the awake; The breath came as the physician of the sick. The one who was not awake received no portion, And the one who was not sick sought no physician. O God, bestow a breath of grace, That I may awaken from its fragrance. Send again another breath of grace, That is fitting for my wakefulness. And after that, a breath of grace through which, selflessly, I may run, sniffing the scent, toward the rose garden. A rose garden that is the time of presentation, A Paradise whose expanse is the heavens and the earth.
