بخش ۱۰۷ - اشارت به آنکه عزلت بر دو قسم است عزلت مریدان و هی بالاجسام عن مخالطة الاغیار و عزلت محققان و هی بالقلوب عن ملاحظة الاکوان / Section 107 - Indication That Seclusion is of Two Kinds: the Seclusion of the Disciples, Which is of the Body from Associating with Others, and the Seclusion of the Realized Ones, Which is of the Heart from Observing the Universe

Original content

English translation

The seclusion of seekers is in the body, The seclusion of gnostics is in consciousness and intellect. The seclusion of the body is that you constantly Sever yourself from all, both the elite and the common. You close the door to the people of your times, And prefer no place but the corner of your home. Do not wear out your feet going out or coming in, Do not stain your lips with superfluous speech. Do not speak of the discourses of the creation, Do not take a step to meet them. Regard their loss as the very essence of profit, Deem their stinginess as sheer generosity. Before death takes you away from all, Sever the thread of hope from everyone. The seclusion of consciousness is that none other than God Finds a place in the sanctuary of your heart. Gradually untangle your mind From all things, until you become single-minded. When single-mindedness becomes your path, Your fleeting state of bliss will become eternal. Whatever binds you to servitude, That servitude will become life itself. You will become a traceless, singular servant, An eternally living soul-offering being. Your tracelessness and self-sacrifice Will become the very source of your life.
