کل من کان یوثر العزله
حصل العزلت بلا مهله

چون بود عزلتت ز صحبت به
پا ز صحبت به کنج عزلت نه

عزلت آمد کلید گنج شهود
عزلت آمد علاج رنج وجود

اندر او عز و لت که متصل است
آن لت نفس عز جان و دل است

عینش از علم و «ز» ز زهد شناس
یعنی او راست علم و زهد اساس

نیست بی «عین » علم جز زلت
نست بی «زای » زهد جز علت

یافتن عز زین دو حرف عزلت تو
نیست بی این دو حرف جز لت تو

English translation

Whoever prefers solitude, Gains honor without delay. Since your solitude is better than association, Step away from association into the corner of solitude. Solitude is the key to the treasure of witnessing, Solitude is the remedy for the suffering of existence. In it, honor and suffering are connected; That suffering of the lower self is the honor of the soul and heart. Know its 'Ayin' is from 'knowledge' and its 'Za' from 'asceticism'; Meaning that knowledge and asceticism are its foundation. Without the 'Ayin' of knowledge, there is nothing but error, Without the 'Za' of asceticism, there is nothing but malady. Your gaining of honor from these two letters of solitude Is not possible without these two letters, otherwise it is nothing but your hardship.
