بخش ۳ - نعت خواجه ای که ربقه بندگیش طوق گردن سر بلندان است و داغ غلامیش نشان دولت ارجمندان / Section 3 - Praise of the Master Whose Yoke of Servitude is a Collar on the Neck of the Exalted and the Brand of Whose Slavery is the Mark of Fortune for the Noble

Original content

English translation

A Master to whom the host of kings are servants, They have placed the ring of his command in their ears. To the fortunate, his face is the Qibla of the soul; The dust of his alley is the Kaaba of hope. His alley became the Kaaba of every initiate, And the Kaaba cannot dispense with a Zamzam. That Zamzam is the eyes overflowing with tears; The honor of the gnostics is from that Zamzam. The clamor of those shedding Zamzam-like tears in grief for him, And the groaning of the well-pulleys of his Zamzam. Without him, the Kaaba was filled with stone idols; Its sanctuary was narrow for those seeking God. His striving uprooted them from their very foundations, And cast them into the wilderness of non-existence. The highway of religion was cleansed of rocky ground; That arena became wide and spacious for those seeking God. The standing place of Abraham (Maqam Ibrahim) conformed to his desire, And that station became exalted by the blessing of his footsteps. He bestowed upon the Black Stone the name 'the Right Hand of God,' And kissed that Right Hand of God with deep reverence. Seldom on the face of the Earth has anyone Received such hand-kissing. Marwah faced Safa from eternity; His striving (sa'y) is praised in plains and mountains. He is the preface to the manuscript of both worlds; The entire universe is bankrupt, and he is the Master. We eat food from the table of his bounty, And carry away gifts from the feast of his grace. A multitude of people, due to sparse obedience in times of drought, Have hope of bounty from his hand. Whoever gathers crumbs from this table of generosity, What sorrow has he from the harm of a year of famine?
