English translation

O You, whose grace of existence fills the world, Drowned in Your light, whether manifest or hidden. The source of both form and meaning is entirely You, With all, without all, You are all, O You who are everything. No quantity or quality is without a share from You, No inside or outside is empty of You. Your firstness and lastness are united, Your hiddenness and manifestness are in agreement. You have manifested in all opposites, No opposite is far from Your presence. Jami, cleansed of his own existence, Has become dust in the path of poverty and annihilation. In Your subsistence, he desires annihilation, And from annihilation, he seeks subsistence in You. Make him self-effacing from himself and his deeds, And bestow that annihilation upon him. Once he has been annihilated, bring him to Your subsistence, Seat him at the head of the throne of purity. Guide him to those of pure character, Keep him adorned with the traits of Sufism.
