بخش ۷۲ - بیعت دادن پادشاه ارکان دولت خود را با سلامان و تسلیم کردن تخت و تاج را به وی / Section 72 - The King Causing the Pillars of His State to Swear Allegiance to Salaman and Delivering the Throne and Crown to Him

Original content

When Salaman was delivered from the grief of Absal, He bound his heart to a beloved of auspicious omen. His skirt was cleansed of impurities, His aspiration turned toward the heavens. His head became worthy of the crown, His feet made the celestial throne their ladder of ascension. The King of Greece summoned the rulers, He summoned the rebel chiefs and the crowned heads. He hosted a banquet the likes of which, among kings, Is nowhere recorded in the history of the world. Every general and every soldier, From every country, attended that banquet. Of all the commanders and forces present, Every single one swore allegiance to Salaman. All of them abandoned their claims to sovereignty, And raised their heads into the yoke of servitude. The King placed the jeweled crown upon Salaman's head, And set the golden throne of the kingdom beneath his feet. He handed over the seven realms to him, And taught him the customs of army leadership. In the midst of that great gathering, he composed A testament for him. Openly before the crowd, and not in secret, He bored a hundred pearls with the diamond of his intellect and spoke:
