دفتر ششم - بخش ۵۳ - جواب قاضی سؤال صوفی را و قصهٔ ترک و درزی را مثل آوردن / Book Six - Section 53 - The Qadi Answering the Sufi's Question and Bringing as a Parable the Story of the Turk and the Tailor

Original content

English translation

The Qadi said, 'You are a very brazen Sufi, empty of intelligence like the Kufic letter Kaf. Did you not hear that the sweet-lipped one was telling at night of the treachery of tailors? He was presenting to the people ancient tales concerning the thievery of that group. The story of stealing scraps in cutting garments, he was recounting to this one and that. In his evening-talk he was reciting a book of thievery; a crowd had gathered around him. When the listener found an attraction from that gathered crowd, all his parts became absorbed in the story.'
