Original content

English translation

One day, a bread-worshipping, sturdy, basket-carrying beggar Said to a master from Gilan: When he took the bread from him, he said, 'O Helper (God), Return him happily to his home and family.' He [the master] said, 'If the home is what I have seen, May God bring you there, O gloomy one! Base people make every narrator seem trivial, Even if his word is lofty, they bring it down. Because the message comes according to the capacity of the listener, The tailor cuts the robe according to the master's measure.'
