بخش ۲۷ - جواب / Section 27 - Answer

مکن بر نعمت حق ناسپاسی
که تو حق را به نور حق شناسی

جز او معروف و عارف نیست دریاب
ولیکن خاک می یابد ز خور تاب

عجب نبود که ذره دارد امید
هوای تاب مهر و نور خورشید

به یاد آور مقام و حال فطرت
کز آنجا باز دانی اصل فکرت

« الست بربکم » ایزد که را گفت
که بود آخر که آن ساعت « بلی » گفت

در آن روزی که گل ها می سرشتند
به دل در قصهٔ ایمان نوشتند

اگر آن نامه را یک ره بخوانی
هر آن چیزی که می خواهی ، بدانی

تو بستی عقد عهد بندگی دوش
ولی کردی به نادانی فراموش

کلام حق بدان گشته است منزل
که یادت آورد از عهد اول

اگر تو دیده ای حق را به آغاز
در اینجا هم توانی دیدنش باز

صفاتش را ببین امروز اینجا
که تا ذاتش توانی دید فردا

وگرنه رنج خود ضایع مگردان
برو بنیوش « لا تهدی » ز قرآن

English translation

Do not be ungrateful for the blessing of the Truth, For you know the Truth by the light of the Truth. Understand that there is no known nor knower other than Him, Yet the dust receives warmth and light from the sun. It is no wonder that the speck of dust has hope, And yearns for the warmth and light of the sun. Recall the station and state of your original nature, So that you may recognize the origin of thought from there. To whom did the Lord say: 'Am I not your Lord?' And who was it indeed who at that moment said: 'Yes'? On the day when they were kneading the clays, They wrote the story of faith within the heart. If you read that letter but once, You will know everything that you desire. You bound the contract of the covenant of servitude yesterday, But in your ignorance you have forgotten it. The Word of the Truth was sent down for this reason, To remind you of that first covenant. If you have seen the Truth in the beginning, You can see Him here again as well. Behold His attributes here today, So that you may see His essence tomorrow. Otherwise, do not waste your trouble; Go and listen to 'You do not guide' from the Quran.
