چو نور آفتاب از شب جدا شد
تو را صبح و طلوع و استوا شد

دگر باره ز دور چرخ دوار
زوال و عصر و مغرب شد پدیدار

بود نور نبی خورشید اعظم
گه از موسیٰ پدید و گه ز آدم

اگر تاریخ عالم را بخوانی
مراتب را یکایک باز دانی

ز خور هر دم ظهور سایه ای شد
که آن معراج دین را پایه ای شد

زمان خواجه وقت استوا بود
که از هر ظل و ظلمت مصطفا بود

به خط استوا، بر قامت راست
ندارد سایه پیش و پس، چپ و راست

چو کرد او بر صراط حق اقامت
به امر «فاستقم» می داشت قامت

نبودش سایه کان دارد سیاهی
زهی نور خدا، ظل الهی

ورا قبله میان غرب و شرق است
ازیرا در میان نور غرق است

به دست او چو شیطان شد مسلمان
به زیر پای او شد سایه پنهان

مراتب جمله زیر پایهٔ اوست
وجود خاکیان از سایهٔ اوست

ز نورش شد ولایت سایه گستر
مشارق با مغارب شد برابر

ز هر سایه که اول گشت حاصل
در آخر شد یکی دیگر مقابل

کنون هر عالمی باشد ز امت
رسولی را مقابل در نبوت

نبی چون در نبوت بود اکمل
بود از هر ولی ناچار افضل

ولایت شد به خاتم جمله ظاهر
بر اول نقطه هم ختم آمد آخر

از او عالم شود پر امن و ایمان
جماد و جانور یابد از او جان

نماند در جهان یک نفس کافر
شود عدل حقیقی جمله ظاهر

بود از سر وحدت واقف حق
در او پیدا نماید وجه مطلق

English translation

When the light of the sun separated from the night, For you arose dawn, sunrise, and noon. Once again, from the rotation of the revolving sphere, Decline, afternoon, and sunset became manifest. The light of the Prophet is the greatest sun, Manifest at times through Moses, and at times through Adam. If you read the history of the world, You will know the degrees one by one. From the sun, at every moment a shadow appeared, Which became a step for the ascension of religion. The time of the Master was the moment of noon, For he was chosen and free from all shadow and darkness. On the equator, on an upright stature, There is no shadow before, behind, left, or right. Since he stood firm on the path of Truth, He kept his stature upright by the command 'Stand upright'. He had no shadow, for a shadow has darkness; How wonderful is the light of God, the shadow of the Divine! His Qibla is between the West and the East, For this reason he is submerged in the midst of light. Since Satan became a Muslim at his hand, The shadow became hidden beneath his feet. All ranks are beneath his steps; The existence of earthly beings is from his shadow. From his light, saintship cast its shadow, Easts and Wests became equal. From every shadow that was first obtained, In the end another stood opposite to it. Now, every scholar from among the community Stands opposite to a messenger in prophethood. Since the Prophet was most perfect in prophethood, He is inevitably superior to every saint. Saintship was entirely manifested in the Seal, And the end returned to the first point. Through him, the world becomes filled with peace and faith, Inanimate things and animals find life from him. Not a single unbelieving soul will remain in the world, True justice will become entirely manifest. He is aware of the secret of unity from the Truth, And in him the Absolute Countenance will show itself.
